圖書館相關的API清單

圖書館想要做Web 2.0“混搭”(mashup)嗎？那一定會用到相關的API吧！

看到這份Roy Tennant彙整的API清單，不得不轉述一番，因為很有參考性，感謝Roy 。

他在Library Application Program Interfaces (APIs)這篇文章前面講到：
Application Program Interfaces (APIs) 是一種應用軟體和另一種應用軟體間溝通的結構性方法。API以一種標準化的方式，讓程式間互通及分享資料與服務。這份與圖書館相關的API清單，對圖書館開發者[或可說“圖書館資訊人員”？]或許有幫助…這些API是被認為屬於一般性有用的API；而幾乎所有圖書館目錄方面皆有檢索API(即Z39.50) [註]，或其他廠商(或產品)使用的API…
