Cataloging a book -- core elements

020 $a 9714680700275
100 $a Lewis, Amy.
245 $a Intergenerational commmunication / $c Amy Lewis, Carl Hayes, Jack Ortz,
Sarah Stair.
246 $i Corrected title: $a Intergenerational communication
250 $a First revised edition.
260 $a [United States] : $b United States Research Council, $c [2009?]
300 $a 212 pages
336 $a text $2 marccontent
338 $a volume $2 marccarrier
490 $a USRC research report ; $v number XVI
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

在RDA的第6 章( Identifying Works and Expressions)中6.9有對 Content Type(內容類型)作解釋:fundamental form of communication in which the content is expressed and the human sense through which it is intended to be perceived;或見訓練資料Module4 slide66—。

the format of the storage medium and housing of a carrier in combination with the type of intermediation device required to view, play, run, etc., the content of a resource ;或見訓練資料Module3 slide62--。

(Media type reflects the general type of intermediation device required to view, play, run, etc., the content of a resource)[3];此資料也許可以透過“載體類型”來自動產生(information could be machine-generated from Carrier type)。[4]

(http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=tjXGc2Q_InbjwSDnq4rTKzQ&single=true&gid=0&output=html)

(How libraries stack up: 2010) (PDF)

每天有30萬人從公共圖書館得到求職方面的幫助;
大部分公共圖書館提供免費無線上網(約有12000個圖書館提供免費Wi-Fi上網,比提供相同服務的11000個Starbucks咖啡館還多);
對小企業提供幫助方面,每月有280萬次;

(Supporting the goals and ideals of National Library Week),參見報導議案全文。(補充House of Representatives passes resolution honoring National Library Week)

(The Value of Public/School/… libraries)分享了他匯集的文章清單(Summary: My Postings on the Value of Libraries),也值參考。

Worlds Connect @ Your Library (2009) which encourages library patrons to use all of the tools and professional assistance available to them at their local libraries. According to a recent ALA press release, this year's theme also strives to emphasize the point that libraries can keep people connected "providing a space for people of all ages, classes and races to come together, while keeping us connected to events and people around the world.

MARC: from mark-up to data

020 __ $a 0812976479 (pbk.)
