數位圖書館演講摘要

看到 2006.12.07 於屏東大仁科技大學之「圖書館數位典藏暨2006(第30屆)台灣地區INNOPAC系統使用者聯盟」研討會的資料(網上)，其中有一場演講 --『從數位典藏看數位圖書館的(未來)發展』(陳昭珍)，現將其重點(我的觀點)摘要如下，有興趣或欲知其詳者則請看原投影片(70頁)。

陳老師舉了印地安納大學數位圖書館的例子 -- IU Digital Music Library(即印大音樂圖書館的 Variations 計畫)(註1) ，擷取其中幾張投影片供參閱：

另 p.34 提到DL Ecologcal thinking (數位圖書館生態面的思考)：

• Looking at the broad picture is more important than focusing only on the details of particular technology innovations (看的要廣，這比僅專注在某些技術創新的細節上來得重要)
• Design problems get harder and more realistic as more interconnections among people, tools, and practices are revealed (當人們、工具及實作愈益相互連結時，設計上的問題將變得更困難及更真實)
• Users also need to approach digital libraries from a more comprehensive, less tool-centered perspective (使用者也需從一個更廣闊，少些工具性，的觀點來接觸數位圖書館)
